BITU is a media player. It does not provide channels, streams or playlists, and it never asks you to hand over the content you watch. Your playlists and provider logins are stored on your own device.
This Privacy Policy explains how BITU ("BITU", "we", "us") handles information when you use the BITU applications and the website at bituplay.com (together, the "Service"). By using the Service you agree to this policy.
1. Information you provide
- Playlist & provider details. The Xtream Codes credentials or M3U/M3U8 URLs you enter are saved locally on your device so the app can load your content. We do not collect, transmit or store these on our servers.
- Account & subscription details. If you create an account or purchase a subscription, we (and our payment providers) process information such as your email address and purchase records to deliver and support the Service.
- Support messages. If you contact us at support@bituplay.com, we receive the information you choose to send.
2. Information collected automatically
- Basic device & diagnostic data. We may collect app version, device model, operating system, language and anonymous crash or performance logs to keep the app stable.
- Limited usage analytics. We may collect aggregated, non-identifying usage statistics (for example, which screens are opened) to improve the app. We do not log the specific channels, movies or streams you watch.
3. What we do not do
- We do not sell or rent your personal information.
- We do not host, monitor or keep a record of the media content you play.
- We do not use your data for third-party advertising profiles.
4. How we use information
We use the limited information above to operate and secure the Service, process subscriptions, respond to support requests, fix bugs, and comply with legal obligations.
5. Service providers
We rely on trusted third parties to run the Service, including app stores (Apple App Store, Google Play), payment processors, and analytics or crash-reporting tools. These providers process data only as needed to perform their services and under their own privacy terms.
6. Data retention
Playlist and login data remain on your device until you remove them or uninstall the app. Account and purchase records are kept for as long as your account is active or as required for legal, tax and accounting purposes.
7. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. Children
BITU is not directed to children under the age of 13 (or the minimum age in your country), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
9. Your rights
